MODconsole was commissioned to be used as an entertainment center. Divided into two sections, the upper level is short and wide with sliding glass doors to accomodate a/v equipment without hindering the use of remote controls. The lower level is subdivided into three sections. The center door opens down to reveal a spacious storage area with one removable shelf. The side doors swing outward, exposing compartments with two removable shelves. The case is constructed from bubinga with cocobolo inlay and door pulls. Aluminum posts provide support for the top in the upper level behind the glass doors.
